HOMOEOPATHY FOR PROSTATE ENLARGEMENT

The prostate gland produces the fluid that carries sperm during ejaculation . As the prostate enlarges which happens to almost all men as they get older, it can press on the urethra - the tube that empties  urine from the bladder. This cause problem with urination. Prostate enlargement is often called benign prostate hypertrophy or hyperplasia - BPH. It is not cancer . The main symptoms are - slowed or delayed start of the urinary stream, weal urine stream, dribbling after urinating, straining to urinate, strong and sudden urge to urinate , incomplete emptying of your bladder, needing to urinate 2 or more times per minute, urinary retention - complete inability to urinate, incontinence, pain with urination or bloody urine, these may indicate infection
HOMOEOPATHIC TREATMENT 
1. Baryta carb. 1000- Enlargement of prostate gland in old age. Give one dose once in a week
2. Chimaphila umbellata 3x-  Prostate enlargement and irritation. Sensation in anal region as if sitting on a ball. Give every 4 hours
3. Conium maculatum 1000- Head remedy for enlargement of prostate. Dribbling of prostatic fluid, worse stools and emotions. Itching of prepuce . Urine starts and stops again and again . One dose once in a week
4. Damiana Q- Chronic prostate enlargement with sexual debility. 10 drops in water three times daily
5. Digitalis 30- Enlargement of prostate with heart trouble. Continued urging to urinate which comes in drops with a cutting a d throbbing in the bladder. Give every 4 hours
6. Pareira brava Q- Retention of urine due to enlargement of prostate . 10 drops in water 3 times daily
7. Sabal serrulata 3x-  Chronic and acute enlargement of prostate. Difficulty in passing urine. Burning while urinating. Give every 4 hours
8. Solidago Q-- Chronic enlargement of prostate. 10 drops in water three times daily
9. Staphysagria 3- Chronic irritation after an acute attack. Enlarged prostate with piles.Frequent urge to urinate . Sensation as if a few drops remained. Give every 4 hours
10. Thuja occidentalis 30- Enlargement after inflammation as from gonorrhea . Give every 4 hours
