Peptic ulcers are open sores that develop on the inside lining of your esophagus, stomach and the upper portion of your small intestine. The most common symptom of a peptic ulcer is abdominal pain.
Peptic ulcers include:Gastric ulcers that occur on the inside of the stomach,Esophageal ulcers that occur inside the hollow tube (esophagus) that carries food from your throat to your stomach ,Duodenal ulcers that occur on the inside of the upper portion of your small intestine (duodenum)
It's a myth that spicy foods or a stressful job can cause peptic ulcers. Doctors now know that a bacterial infection or some medications — not stress or diet — cause most peptic ulcers.

HOMOEOPATHY MEDICINES
Plumbum aceticum 30—Head remedy for peptic ulcer. Severe pain and muscular cramps. Give every 4 hours
Anacardium orientalis 30- Gastric pain better by eating. Worse after 2-3 hours. Give every 4 hours
Argentum nitricum 30- Pain immediately after eating. Ulceration of stomach with radiating pain. Vomoting of blood. Loud eructations. Give everry 4 hours
Arsenicum alb. 30-Burning pain in stomach and epigastric region. Worse at rest and after eating and drinking. Vomiting of blackish and brownish substance . Give every 4 hours
Graphites 6- Specific in gastric and duodenal ulcers. Contractive pain in stomach. Give every 4 hours
Kali bichromicum 30- Pain relieved by hot food, drink and by lying down. Round ulcer of stomach. Gastric symptoms are relieved by eating. Give every 4 hours
Phosphorus 30- Burning in stomach, worse eating . Vomoting of food mixed with mucus, bile and blood. Sour taste and sour vomiting after every meal. Give every 4 hours
Orinithogalum Q- Gastric and duodenal ulcers. Gastric ulceration with haemorrhage. Pain increased when food passes pyloric outlet. Give 5 drops every 4 hours
Lycopodium 1000- Painful sinking across epigastrium. Vomiting of coffee ground looking matter. Great weakness of digestion with much bloating. Give one dose every 2 weeks
Robina 3x- Specific remedy . Grat acidity. Give every 4 hours
Atrop. Sulph. 3x- Intercurrent remedy. When well selected remedy does not give sufficient relief. Give three times daily
