BOTANICAL NAME—Anthozanthum odoratum  Linn.

FAMILY—Graminae

COMMON NAMES—English—Sweet vernal grass

DESCRIPTION—A perennial , deciduous herb, 30-70 cm high. Leaves mostly near the base, the upper much shorter. Spikelets brownish green, three –flowered.

DISTRIBUTION-Throughout U.S.A. Cultivated in India.

PART USED –Whole plant.

HOMOEOPATHIC USES

Clinical- Hay fever. Coryza.

This remedy is has not been proved, but has been used with success on the clinical indication of the effects produced by the pollen grains on those subject to hey fever

POTENCY—3rd to 6th potency
