COMMON NAMES :English: Scotch broom.
DESCRIPTION: A shrub grows
up to 1-3 m. The shrubs have seen shoots with small deciduous trifoliate leaves
5-15 mm long , and in spring and summer are covered in profuse golden yellow
flowers from top to bottom.

USES
HEART: A heart tonic. Increases the strength of the
heart, and reduces blood pressure.
Angina pectoris. Tobacco heart. Myocardial degeneration, failing
compensation. Hypotension. Palpitation
with congestion of head. Irregular action, disturbed rhythum due to gas, feeble
in nervous hysterical patients. Anxious oppression, radiating to left shoulder
and neck.
KIDNEY: It has specific
action on the kidneys, enabling them to eliminate and relieve the distress upon
the heart. Profuse flow of urine. Drawing pains in the kidneys with colic
pains. Burning along urinary tract or in
pudendum. Albuminuria. Nephritis. Frequent need to urinate at night, especially
around 5 am. Diabetes insipidus. Bed wetting.
POTENCY: Mother tincture and higher.
