DESCRIPTION: A perennial herb. Leaves alternate , heart
shaped, finely pointed, dark-green, glossy and stalked. Flowers small,
yellowish green, unisexual, sexes on different plants, in racemes from leaf
axis. Fruit a berry, globlose and red.
DISTRIBUTION: South and Western Europe, North America and Asia
Minor.
