HOMOEOPATHIC REMEDIES FOR ECTROPION AND ENTROPION
Ectropion-- is the outward turning
of the margin of the lower eyelid. If the lower eyelids turns outward and the
eyelid hangs away from the eye, the exposed inner surface of the lid becomes
dry and sore
Causes—This condition is more
in elderly people as a result of laxity
of the lower eyelid that may occur with increasing age. Both eyelids are
unusually affected. Contraction of a scar on the eyelid or cheek or by facial
palsy, in which muscles around the eye paralyzed. In this condition only one
eye is affected
Entropion- Entropion is the
inward turning of the margin of the upper or lower eyelid or both
Causes- Entropion mainly
affects elderly people because of the natural laxity of the eyelids that takes place with increasing age. The
eyelashes rub against the cornea and the
conjunctiva
