BOTANICAL NAME:  Laminum album Linn.

FAMILY:  Lamieceae

COMMON NAMES:  English:  Blind nettle.

DESCRIPTION:  A perennial herb. Leaves green, 2-10 cm long, petioled, ovate, or more commonly deltoid, coarsely crenate, narrowed with flat or concave sides to an acute apex. Flowers white, ascending in clusters, the upper lip strongly arched or hooded.

DISTRIBUTION:  Europe and Asia.

PARTS USED : Leaf and flower.

HOMOEOPATHIC USES

HEADACHE:  Headache with backward and forward motion of head. Tightness of scalp. Worse in morning on waking , from sitting, open air. Much uneasiness of mind and anxiety.

HEMORRHOIDS :  Piles with hard and bloody stool.

POTENCY:  3X and higher.
