HOMOEOPATHIC MOTHER TINCTURES FOR DYSENTERY
Many Homoeopathic mother tinctures are very effective for
dysentery. Some of them are given below
ACHYRANTHES
ASPERA Q- Loose stool with yellowish coloration. Stool mixed with
profuse mucus. Pain in stomach. Nausea and vomiting is associated. Excessive
thirst.
AEGLE
MARMELOS AND AEGLE FOLIA Q- Both indicated in amoebic and bacillary
dysentery. Most commonly associated with indigestion. Abdominal colic is the
concomitant . There may be water brash from mouth. Flatulence aggravates in
afternoon
ATISTA
RADIX Q- Indicated both in amoebic and bacillary dysentery .
Dysentery appears in the autum. Profuse bleeding.Intense pain in the umbilical
region. Flatulence and biliary colic
CEPHALANDRA
INDICA Q- Loose stool of greenish color. Stool mixed with blood and
greenish mucus. Pain before and after stool. Anorexia . Flatulence amy be
present in the entire abdomen. Dryness of the mouth with great thirst for large
quantities of water at a time
CYNADON
DACTYLON Q- Rumbling and gurgling sound in abdomen. Indigestion. Stool
mostly associated with mucus and tenesmus

GIGANTEA Q- For acute dysentery
FICUS
INDICA Q- Chronic bloody dysentery. Hemorrhage before any evacuation
LEUCAS
ASPERA Q- A specific remedy for dysentery
FICUS
RELIGIOSA Q- Indicated for dysentery where there is more
blood. Dysentery associated with vomiting of bright red blood. Great repugnance
to all foods. Profuse saliva with white tongue
HOLARRHENA
ANTIDYSENTERICA Q- Indicated both in acute and chronic cases .
Dysentery associated with weakness and emaciation. There is more mucus but less
blood. Anorexia is the striking feature of this remedy
OCIMUM
CARYOPHYLLATUM Q- Profuse salivation with great thirst for cold
water. Brown coating on the tip of the tongue with soreness
TERMINALIA
CHEBULA Q- Intense desire for defecation but passes a small quantity
or nothing comes out. Sweating is associated. Itching and sensation of fullness
in the rectum
