Coriander sativum, commonly known as coriander belongs the family umbelliferae .It is cultivated throughout India. Whole plant , fruits, seeds, leaves are used for medicinal purposes.
Fever--1.  The cold infusion of coriander with sugar and taken in morning alleviates even severe burning sensation immediately
2. In order to improve digestive fire, one suffering from fever should take water processed with coriander two parts and dry ginger one part
3. Decoction of coriander and dry ginger added with lemon juice and sugar sugar is useful in fever of autumn
Other uses-1.  Strong decoction of im milk 1 in 40, with sugar is useful in dyspnea, flatulence, indigestion and bleeding piles
2. Seeds are chewed to correct foul breath
