BOTANICAL NAME—Marsdenia condurango Nichols

FAMILY—Asclepiadaceae

COMMON NAMES---ENGLISH—Condro-vinc Bark

DESCRIPTION—A vine from 3-10 m long with smooth, ash –gray bark, more or less marked with green or black lichens . Leaves opposite, round-oblong, acute, hairy beneath. Flowers whitish, corolla somewhat campanulate.

DISTRIBUTION—South America.

HOMOEOPATHIC USES—Cancer of  stomach, gastric disorders. It is considered a specific remedy for esophageal, stomach or intestinal cancers. Deep cracks in the corners of mouth is a guiding symptom. Dryness of lips

It stimulates the digestive functions and thus improves the general health. Allays the pain in gastragia accompanying cancer of stomach. Modifies  secretions of  digestive glands. Vomiting of food, induration in left hypochondrium with constant burning pain. Stricture of esophagus, food seems to stick with burning pains behind the sternum.
