NAPPY RASH and HOMOEOPATHY


A common irritation in the area covered by the diaper
The rash can be red, skin-colored, or slightly lighter or darker than skin color. By far the most common skin problem in infants is diaper rash. Diaper rash is an irritation of the skin caused by dampness, urine, and feces. However, there are other skin disorders that can cause rash. These are usually not serious unless accompanied by other symptoms.
Diaper rashes are comon in babies using cloth or disposiblediapers
Sometimes the rash may be caused by a yeast infection, rashes on thighs, abdomenor bacteria, rash consists of small blisters or pustules
Call your Doctor if
There are any blisters or small red patches beyond the diaper area.
The rash is worse in the skin creases.
The rash extends beyond the diaper area.
There is no improvement after 3 days of home treatment.
There is a fever,or other unexplained symptoms associated with the rash.
There is a rash, spots, blister, or discoloration in an infant 3 months or younger.
Your child is scratching a lot
Any of the areas look infected



Urine smells like ammonia                  Benzoic acid   30        Every 4 hours  8

This will cure all most all cases           Chamomilla     200      Every 8 hours  2
If Chamomilla fails try
 this remedy                                        Lycopodium clavatum            200      Every 8 hours  2                                 
Diffuse redness all over
 the nappy area                                    Medorrihinum 200      Every 8 hours  2
If accompanied by red pimples           Rhus tox.         30        Every 4 hours  4
Worse after bathing
Better when exposed
 to the air                                             Sulphur            200      Every 8 hours  2

Apply Calendula cream on the affected part
