ARSENICUM SULFURATATUM FLAVUM----A REMEDY FOR LEUCODERMA

CHEMICAL NAME— Arsenic  trisulphide
DESCRIPTION —A yellow or orange powder; odorless. Insoluble in water and alcohol; soluble in alkalies; slowly soluble in hot hydrochloric acid and decomposes in boiling dilute nitric acid with separation of sulphur.
It is found in nature and is also prepared by the action of hydrogen chloride on aqueous solution of arsenious oxide.

MATERIA MEDICA
MIND—Patient is very irritable, quarrelsome, very sensitive and touchy. Fear at night of dark, of evil and ghosts. Fear of cloud also. Suspicious of his friends and family.  Weeping at night and occasionally weeps during sleep. Intense torturing anxiety and apprehension.
HEAD—Needle-like stitches in right frontal region.
RESPIRATION—Needle like pricks within outwards in chest. Difficult respiration.
MOUTH—Taste bitter. Tongue furred, yellow-white, stiff, swollen,later, dry with disgust for all nourishment. Mouth and throat dry, herpetic  ulcers.
DIGESTIVE SYSTEM--- Burning and gnawing in stomach with vomiting and diarrhea. Ravenous appetite with easy satiety , aversion to fat food, meat and stimulant. Very thirsty. Milk upsets the stomach . Desires warm things, constipation alternating with diarrhea.
STOOL—Diarrhea with colic and backache and tenesmus. Diarrhea daily at 8 a.m. and several times during day, but not at night.Stool  like water , green, and slimy and terribly offensive.
URINE—Dribbling painful difficult and at times involuntary at night. Must hurry up or urine escapes
MALE--Stitches in glans penis and scrotum. Gonorrhea with terrible pains, discharge copious, yellow, constant, burning day and night along entire urethra with restlessness.  Perspiration genetalia. Ulcers prepuce. Itching of vulva.
FEMALE-- Leucorrhea excoriating. Menses copious and too frequent.
EXTREMITIES—Cold hands and feet, cramps, calf muscles and soles, pain in the limbs after midnight. Sciatica and pain around the knee.
SLEEP—Deep, dreams amorous anxious of death and of the dead. Wide awake 3 a.m. and start to sleep after. Startling in sleep , also in falling asleep , as if he would fall out of bed. Restless at night, excited, dreams with seminal emissions.
SKIN—Skin itching, dry, cracked, cracks, itch.Marked coldness of the skin of the body. Discoloration of skin. Blotches of blue , liver spots and white spots. Eruptions itching, moist modular urticaria. Purpura haemorrhagia. Eruptions on outer side of left wrist, also on inner side.
MODALITIES-Worse before midnight or after midnight. Scratching worst, drafts of cold air. Better warmth of bed, lying down. He is a chilly patient.
CAUTION—Poison. Not to be dispensed below 3x
POTENCY—3X and higher
