  DOLICHOS PRURIENS OR MUCUNA PRURIENS BOTANICAL NAME: Mucuna pruriens Baker FAMILY: Leguminosae COMMON NAMES: English-Cowhage, Horse-eye; French-Pois velus; German-Juckbohme; Hindi-Kawanch. DISCRIPTION: An annual twining herb. Leaves 3-foliate. Leaflets ovate or rhomboid. Flowers in elongated racemes., purplish in colour. Pod 5-6 seeded.
