MOTHER TINCTURES FOR ASTHMA
Asthma is a condition in which your airways
narrow and swell and produce extra mucus. This can make breathing difficult and
trigger coughing, wheezing and shortness of breath.

ORIENTALIS Q—Suffocation
from great accumulation of mucus. Cough with dyspnea. Purulent tough, viscid,
yellow mucus. Better from expectoration. Worse in the rainy season. Acts best
in stout and corpulent patients.
BOERHAAVIA
DIFFUSA Q—Cardiac
asthma. Coryza with dry cough and thick white expectoration.
CASSIA
SOPHERA Q---Dyspnea
worse during winter, change of weather, inhaling of dust, cold drinks and
exertion. Cough hurts the chest and there is hoarseness.
CANNABIS
INDICA Q---Humid
asthma. Chest oppressed with deep, labored breathing. Rough cough with scraping
immediately under the sternum.
CANNABIS
SATIVA Q---Humid
asthma. Can breathe only when standing. Difficulty in breathing and
palpitations, then must stand up. Difficulty of breathing , as if there were a
weight on the chest with wheezing and rattling in the bronchials.
GRINDELIA
ROBUSTA Q—Wheezing
and oppression. Mucus is foamy and difficult to detach. Asthma with profuse
tenacious expectoration , which relieves. Cannot breathe when lying down. Must
sit up to breathe. Stops breathing when falling asleep. Wakes with a start, and
grasps for breath.
JUSTICIA
ADHATODA Q—Asthma
with cough. Tightness across chest. Paroxysmal cough with suffocative
obstruction of respiration .Aphonia, gagging after cough. Wheezing sound in
throat. Expectoration of thick yellow mucus , streaked with blood.
LEUCAS
ASPERA Q—A specific
remedy for bronchial asthma.
OCIMUM
SANCTUM Q—Cannot
lie quiet in bed in asthma. Chest pain while coughing. Pain in the middle of
the sternum.
PASSIFLORA
INCARNATA Q—A
specific remedy for asthma. Take 60 drops of mother tincture in paroxysm, one
dose.
SENEGA Q—Asthma of old people.
Difficult rising of tough, profuse mucus. Great accumulation of mucus with much
rattling and wheezing. Sensation of oppression and weight of chest. Cough often
ends in sneeze.
SOLANIUM
XANTHOCARPUM Q—Asthma
associated with hoarseness with cough. Pain in chest. Fever with thirst and
aversion to food. Burning pain all over the body.
TYLOPHORA
INDICA Q—A specific
remedy for asthma.
THYMUS Q—Asthma in children. Dry,
nervous asthma with severe spasms, but little sputum is expectorated.
VALERIANA Q—Nervous and spasmodic
asthma. Choking on falling asleep.
