FIVE WAYS TO TREAT CONJUNCTIVITIS


Conjunctivitis, also known as pink eye or eye flu can be treated at home at the early stages with just a little care.
It can cause a lot of discomfort if left untreated. Therefore, one should keep in mind the basic ways of treating it as soon as it occurs.
Here are a few simple ways to help you fight conjunctivitis:
Splash water: The best way to heal your eyes is to keep it clean and germ free with frequent washes.
Cucumber: Placing cucumber slices onto your eyes can provide instant relief from the burning sensation during an eye flu.
Honey: It is said that due to the anti-bacterial properties of honey, it can be used as an oral medication by simply mixing 2 spoons of it into a glass of lukewarm water.
Avoid touching: Constant touching or rubbing the eyes can aggravate the irritation and itching sensation caused by the flu.
Turmeric milk: Turmeric is known for its antiseptic and antibacterial properties, add half a teaspoon of turmeric into a warm glass of milk and drink it the first thing in the morning. It will speed up the healing process magnificently.
